Always ready for an adventure, Fred and Mary can usually be found sailing upper Galveston bay. Fred has a journalism degree from Texas A&M University and has spent the past 15 years working in news, advertising and PR. Mary has a French degree from Eastern Illinois University and works as a translator and travel coordinator. Their two dogs, Dixie Belle and Big Tex, love boating, treats and sniffing things.

  5. We just found your blog. Greetings from Cream Puff . We purchased our first cruising boat Water-Melon in Kemah, TX. We are about to embark on full time cruising. We are currently in St Petersburg FL for a couple more days.

I know this is totally random and probably a little weird but I read your story on scary mommy and it struck a chord – probably because I only recently started taking care of my skin/being crazy about sunscreen/wearing hats!
