Gimme Shelter is the name of that band that you hear playing down the dock every Friday night.  The band starts with a husband and wife duo on drums and guitar, but frequently includes a violin player, and a bass player.  If you listen on into the night more and more people will be invited to play, until you find there are more players than audience.

Their original music has a beach rock feel, with songs about boating, and sailing away for good.  They also have an extensive cover music list that includes everything from Tom Petty to Jack Johnson.  You can be sure that a show at your bar will have everyone singing along.

We’re currently playing gigs from weddings to holiday parties, to shows at your local drinking hole.  Our long term goals include playing gigs around Florida and the Caribbean while living off of our sailboat.
